Volunteer with us
The Elgin County Railway Museum depends on the dedication and commitment of our volunteers. You don’t have to be a train enthusiast to participate. Roles we are currently looking for:
- Individuals with skilled labor skills
- Carpentry, welding, construction, mechanics etc.
- Restoration Projects
- Building & Grounds Maintenance
What Do Volunteers Do?
-Interact with visitors during open hours
-Gain work experience in the museum store
-Assist with various restoration projects
Time Commitment
-One mandatory training day
-4 Hour Regular Open Hours Shifts (seasonally)
